The Supreme Court issued three opinions today, but did not issue its opinion in D.C. v. Heller, the case challenging the D.C. gun ban on Second Amendment grounds.
With today's opinions, the Court has seven cases remaining to decide from this term. The Court announced that it will issue more opinions at 10 AM on Wednesday. If the Court still has outstanding opinions after the Wednesday session (a strong possibility), the next likely day for opinions would be this Thursday.
As an aside, SCOTUSblog notes that the only opinion remaining from March's oral arguments is the Heller case, and that the only justice without a majority opinion from that sitting is Justice Scalia.
Stay tuned. I will update this blog Wednesday morning as soon as the Court's opinions are released, typically by 10:30 AM.
