Nudes, Models, and the Met

Tonight's nudes in public story - New York City model Kathleen Neill gets busted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art:

While there's certainly nothing wrong with nudity, particularly that of the glorious female form, I think it's wrong to expose yourself in a public setting to those who may not wish to observe same, particularly those with young children.

Obviously, for consenting adults, or for those families who choose the naturist lifestyle, that's not a problem.

And while there may be other countries where such a display might meet with public approval or amusement (for an example, see this post), that's generally not the case here in the states. Even, apparently, in New York City. As the old saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans.
