Home defense

Today's weekend reading - Brigid of Home on the Range has a post on Home Security - Something All Families Should Read.

Good stuff to share with those who may not yet have the "seen the light", and are not willfully blind. With the increasing potential for major economic disruption in the coming months and years, time is of the essence for those friends and family who have not yet begun training and preparing to protect themselves and their loved ones.

I think the first and most important step is acquiring the mindset that you will not be a victim. Once you have that, a lot else follows naturally.

Of course, we each train and prepare within the physical, financial and temporal constraints that define our unique lives, and necessarily balance defensive training and preparation with the other important demands for our time, money and family. In the end you can do no more, nor should you do less. And hopefully, what you've done will be enough to prevail when evil comes knocking at your door.
